None known when taken as directed, although occasional nausea may be experienced if lozenges are taken on an empty stomach. Keep in a cool, dry place, away from children.

Zinc Lozenges should be limited to short-term therapy, such as the treatment of cold symptoms for about one week. Zinc intakes of 150 to 450 mg per day have been associated with low copper status, altered iron function, reduced immune function and reduced levels of high- density lipoproteins. It is advised to keep your zinc intake below these levels.

Echinacea should not be used on an indefinite, continuous basis. Echinacea is well tolerated by most people and Echinacea use is usually without side effect. Allergic reactions have been reported in people who are allergic to other members of plants in the daisy family (daisy, marigold, ragweed).
